Dr. Perry-Hunter is boarded both as a Pediatrician and Psychiatrist. She has completed a two year fellowship in Inpatient and Outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry at the Los Angeles County, USC Medical Center. Dr. Perry-Hunter maintains a busy private practice working with children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Perry-Hunter has extensive experience evaluating children , adolescents and adults for psychotropic medication needs and medication management. She specializes in treating patients with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders. Dr. Perry-Hunter also has an expertise in issues pertaining to women and ethnic diversity. Dr. Perry-Hunter is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Los Angeles Pediatrics Society, the Southern California Psychiatric Society and the Association of Black Women Physicians, Los Angeles. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
