Dr. Deck has been a forensic psychologist with the Barrington Psychiatric Center since 1988. Over the years, he has conducted both plaintiff and defendant evaluations in personal injury, sexual harassment and discrimination cases. Additionally, he has served as an expert in cases involving, fitness for duty, long term disability, workers' compensation, psychiatric disorders due to medical conditions as well as victims of violence, robbery, and stalking. Dr. Deck has trained psychologists in conducting disability and treatment evaluations, and treated patients presenting with wide ranging clinical disorders and syndromes including, though not limited to, affective disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and clinical disorders related to assorted medical conditions. Dr. Deck is a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, a Diplomate with the American Board of Forensic Medicine, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychological Specialties-Disabilities Evaluation. Dr. Deck is a Qualified Medical Evaluator with the Industrial Medical Council of California. He received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Southern California in 1987 and previously taught psychology at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
