Dr. Sharon Furman, a clinical psychologist, has been working for the Barrington Psychiatric Center (BPC) as a qualified medical expert since 2007. At BPC, Dr. Furman works with issues of depression, anxiety and childhood trauma. One of her strengths is her ability to successfully work with various cultures while addressing the issues surrounding emotional problems.
In addition to her work at BPC, Dr. Furman is in private practice in Los Angeles, providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults.
Dr. Furman holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her Master of Arts and her Doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
